
The renowned actor and comedian Antonio Gasalla passed away at the age of 84 after suffering from severe pneumonia and experiencing a prolonged deterioration in health. Despite having been discharged a week prior, his condition remained delicate, leading his family to be by his side in his final moments.
His loved ones expressed gratitude for the outpouring of affection received and described the situation as a very sad panorama. Gasalla, born in 1941, left a legacy in both television and theater with iconic shows such as "Pan y circo" and "Gasalla es el Maipo y El Maipo es Gasalla." On television, he stood out for his humor and participation in programs like that of Susana Giménez with his characteristic character "La Abuela."
